NYC Elopements and Micro-weddings
Love is electric in this city.
Having an elopement in New York City* is a total dream. This city is for romantics, both traditional and non-traditional. And having a photographer who knows and loves the city is essential. I champion your love and your story on your wedding day, while also knowing which trains to take and what pizza is worth your time and money.
*I am available for traveling elopements as well.
Customize Your Experience
An elopement in NYC could mean a quiet ceremony in Central Park or it could mean spending hours adventuring through the chaos of the city, taking photos all along the way! For couples who are wanting to adventure in and out of cafes, onto subway and taxi cars, or are hoping to get amazing city views (and permits you’ll need for your ceremony), I can help you curate your list of photo locations throughout the city. For couples who would rather recluse away to a corner of the city where tourists and on-lookers are few, I am able to help you curate your selection of locations as well as point you in the direction of any permits you might need! Whatever you want your elopement experience to be, I’m here for it.
A Couple Who Marries Couples!
That’s right. If you’re in need of an officiant, my husband Brett and I can take care of the photos and the nuptials! He’ll officiate (he’s a licensed New York City officiant! It’s legal!) and I’ll be your witness (if you decide not to have any friends and family attend)! All you’ll need to do is set up your marriage license through the courthouse. There’s a bunch of great info here at Project Cupid regarding marriage licenses in NYC! After you fill out our in-depth wedding day questionnaire and sign our contract, we will also set up a thirty minute zoom consultation before your day to talk through both your photos and your ceremony plans.
Set up a consultation
I totally get it. It helps to get to know someone and to ask all the important questions before committing. Isn’t that what dating is? Let’s go on a virtual date so you can ask any questions you have and so we both can get a feel for whether or not we vibe.
